Days for Girls Supply Drive

Starting December 15th, Response.Ability. will be collecting fabric and other items to donate to Days for Girls International. These items will be used by Days for Girls to make the DfG kit: a safe, washable, and long-lasting (3-4 years) menstrual care kit. Days for Girls provides these vital menstrual care kits to girls who would otherwise resort to using rags, mattress stuffing, banana leaves, feathers, cardboard, or even cow dung to manage their menstruation. Not having the proper menstrual care items means many of these girls discontinue their education and often encounter abuse due to their circumstances. Response.Ability is excited to support this cause because we believe it goes hand in hand with our mission to empower young women with the understanding that they have the ability to choose their responses.
