A few years ago, the founder, Angela Loughridge felt a call she could not ignore to empower and educate young women. When she was a child, she attended an afterschool program for girls that made her feel seen. Having a sense of community was vital in her growth and development and her experience there shaped Response.Ability.'s mission and purpose.

 

Most, if not all women, have witnessed and experienced the struggles our gender faces on a daily basis and Response.Ability. is how we are taking action. With heart centered passion, a big mission and a never-ending list of volunteers, this organization was born. We are completely invested in encouraging our girls to become future leaders, confident entrepreneurs, and stop playing the roles our society placed upon us. It is time for women to stand up, speak out and take their power back.

 

We believe it just makes sense to start with our youth.
