Join us on the National Day of Hope! Response.Ability. will participate in our local NAMIWalks event raising awareness for Mental Health Awareness week. On Saturday October 10th, Response.Ability. will be partnering with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or their nation-wide National Day of Hope NAMIWalks event. The walk will take place at Echo Lake Park in Henrico, VA from 11 AM to 1 PM. Let's start from the shelter to the right of the parking lot, across the bridge! Walking will take place from 11am-1pm, with refreshments to follow!  What is A National Day of Hope? It's a day when many of our NAMIWalks sites hold their event simultaneously across the country. This past Spring's NAMIWalks (May 30th) was a big success: a special memory for participants and a stepping stone to helping more people with mental health needs. For this Fall NAMIWalks, that day is set for October 10th, on World Mental Health Day.   On this day, NAMIWalks participants, mental health advocates and NAMI partners will make strides to support NAMI's mission and celebrate Mental Health for All during this demanding year of challenges and changes.  www.namiwalks.org
